In 1980, the Quincy Symphony Guild was formed to assist with hospitality and fund-raising activities. The membership of the Guild is open to both men and women who are interested in the welfare of the Quincy Symphony Orchestra.
At the Fall, Winter and Spring Concerts, the Guild both ushers the seating and serves refreshments after the performance. These collations allow performers and the audience an opportunity to mingle and become better acquainted.
Of the fund-raising activities the Guild provides, the raffle at the May "Pops"-style concerts is a major portion of their support to the QSO.
